Latham's Web Designs is run by Ricky Latham, a sole trader based in Bildeston, Suffolk. This page explains what information I collect when you use this website or get in touch, and what I do with it.
If you fill in the contact form or email me, I receive the details you send: your name, business name, email address, phone number if you give it, and your message. I don't collect anything else about you through this site.
This website doesn't use advertising cookies or tracking pixels. It's hosted on Cloudflare, which records basic technical information (such as your IP address and browser type) in its server logs to keep the site running and secure.
I use your details to reply to your enquiry, to put together a preview of your website if you've asked for one, and to work with you if you become a client. I won't add you to a mailing list or send you marketing you haven't asked for.
Contact form messages are delivered to my email through Web3Forms, and my email is provided by Google. Both process your message only to deliver it to me. I don't sell or share your information with anyone else, unless the law requires it.
If you enquire but don't become a client, I delete your details within six months. If you become a client, I keep your details for as long as I'm working with you, and for up to six years afterwards for tax and accounting records.
You can ask me at any time to see the information I hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Just email lathamswebdesigns@gmail.com. If you're unhappy with how I've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
This policy covers this website only. Websites I build for clients are owned and run by those clients, and each has its own privacy policy.
